🐾 About the Siberian Cat
The Siberian is a powerful, expressive, and emotionally intelligent cat, originating from the cold forests of Russia. With roots going back over a thousand years, this ancient breed was once cherished in monasteries and homes alike — known for their quiet watchfulness, playful spirit, and remarkable resilience.
Siberians mature slowly, often taking 3–5 years to reach full adulthood. This means they keep their kitten-like playfulness well into maturity. Their personalities are often described as dog-like: loyal, curious, and eager to be part of the family’s rhythm.
🌿 Hypoallergenic by Nature
Siberians are among the few breeds that naturally produce lower levels of the Fel d 1 protein, the allergen responsible for most cat allergies. While no cat is fully hypoallergenic, many allergy-sensitive families report little to no reaction when living with a Siberian — even in multi-cat homes.
However, reactions can vary. We’re happy to answer questions and guide you through allergy considerations if needed.
🧪 Allergy Test Kit (Optional)
We offer an allergy test program for potential adopters who want to assess their sensitivity before committing.
How it works:
Mail us a clean cotton T-shirt or pillowcase (or ship one to us via Amazon)
We leave the item in our cattery for 7 days to collect fur and dander
We ship it back to you for in-home exposure testing
Cost: $45 (includes return shipping)
Payment accepted via: Zelle or Venmo
Note: This is not a medical test and cannot guarantee your reaction.

🐾 Declawing Policy
We do not support or allow declawing. This is a harmful procedure that removes part of the toe and can cause chronic pain and behavioral issues.
Instead, we encourage:
Regular nail trimming
Plenty of vertical and horizontal scratching options
Positive reinforcement — Siberians are smart and trainable
✂️ Spay/Neuter & Registration
All kittens are sold with a spay/neuter agreement to be completed between 6–8 months of age. Once we receive proof of sterilization, we’ll provide TICA registration papers for your kitten.
This policy supports ethical breeding practices and helps preserve the integrity of the Siberian breed.
